Degraded performance
An attempt was made to overload the system, taking advantage of the lower number of active servers during nighttime hours. This resulted in degraded performance, with approximately 12% of requests failing during the incident. While the application remained operational, we recognise the impact this had on reliability. To mitigate similar issues in the future, we have implemented additional preventive measures to ensure stability.
